Running profiler
To launch profiler UI:
Windows: launch "YourKit Java Profiler" from in the Start menu
Linux, Solaris: just run <YourKit Java Profiler Home>/bin/yjp.sh
Although you can profile applications running on Java 1.3, 1.4, 5, 6 or 7, the profiler UI itself requires Java 5 or newer to run. It can be downloaded from http://java.sun.com/javase/downloads/index.jsp.
Mac OS X: after the downloaded application is unzipped, simply click its icon. The profiler UI requires that there is Java 5 installed on your system. It can be downloaded from http://www.apple.com/support/downloads/javaformacosx104release5.html.
